A pitch shot away from the Arizona Golf House, Papago Golf Club hosted the 2025 Junior Golf Association of Arizona Awards Banquet presented by Troon at Evie’s Pavilion. The December 2 evening featured Gary McCord and Bob Tway, two PGA Tour professionals who entertained and informed the golf community in attendance.

“Congratulations to everyone who made the cut and thank you to Troon for making this evening special for everyone,” said Scott McNevin, executive director of the JGAA. “The 2025 season was a fantastic year for the JGAA, and we applaud not only these award winners, but all the junior golfers who competed this year. They all exemplify our mission to motivate, educate and inspire the next generation leaders through the game of golf.”

Player of the Year and Sportsmanship Awards were handed out across five age groups. Plus, special recognition was given for the Most Improved golfers, Volunteer of the Year and those who made aces during competition.
