Ongoing research into golf’s charitable giving, economic impact and public perception will be underway. Other key research will include developing drought-tolerant strains of grass, improved water-use efficiency, and other turf grass management best practices to be guided by on-site experts from Arizona State University and various like-minded programs and people.

INTERNSHIPS FOR SUCCESS
Arizona Golf House tenant partners work with Arizona State University, University of Arizona, Grand Canyon University and Northern Arizona University to grow internships in turfgrass management, nonprofit associations, hospitality and tourism. AZ GOLF regularly recruits interns. The Club Management Association of America Southwest Chapter works with NAU and other local higher education entities. The Junior Golf Association of Arizona trains ASU interns each summer, and the First Tee – Phoenix recently welcomed the first ASU intern with plans to expand. These programs will continue while new and additional opportunities will be created to support the education of curious and aspiring professionals.

ARIZONA GOLF FUND
The Arizona Golf Fund (AGF) is established as a portal to benefit all the great work of the golf non-profits in the state. The AGF is not in competition with their fundraising efforts. Rather it is to supplement their needs and allow them to grow their reach and impact. If you would like to participate in protecting the game and its future, you can donate to any golf non-profit of your choice. Visit AZAllianceForGolf.org/AZGolfFund to learn more.
