LPGA*USGA GIRLS GOLF DAY
Thank you to Fox 10 Phoenix for dropping in on a rainy Saturday, October 27, to cover the Girls Golf Day hosted at Grass Clippings Rolling Hills golf course. Cori Matheson, executive director of LPGA*USGA Girls Golf – Phoenix, previewed the 12th annual event open to all girls ages 3-18 featuring a golf vendor showcase, special guest appearances, and a professionally guided practice session for all skill levels.
“Growing the game of golf is more than just getting the girls on the golf course,” said Cori Matheson, director of Girls Golf Phoenix. “It’s about engaging them, empowering them and energizing them to make golf – and all the lessons it teaches – part of their everyday lives.”
