REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
The Junior Golf Association of Arizona’s Itty Bitty Open is set for January 17, 2026, at valley-wide locations. In its 38th year, this free event is open to children ages 3-5 years old.
The event is conveniently offered at several locations across the Vally of the Sun. Now open for registration, each location will offer three “tee times” at 9, 10, and 11 a.m. beginning with a clinic where juniors and parents learn basic golf skills under the guidance of qualified PGA and LPGA professionals. Juniors then put those skills to use during fun-filled golf games.
All participants receive a set of plastic golf clubs, balls, bag and visor. And Each player must be accompanied by an adult “caddie.”
“For 38 years, the Itty Bitty Open has been a great way for parents to introduce their children to the game of golf,” said Scott McNevin, Executive Director of the JGAA. “In fact, adults who attended decades ago are now bringing their kids, so the second generation is already here.”
Each session also will feature a “best dressed golfer and caddie team” contest. Creativity is encouraged — from classic golf attire to contemporary styles or any unique outfit ideas. Winners will receive a trophy to commemorate their stylish teamwork.
